I love my drama kids so much. They have this great sense of joy for life (especially the grade 5/6 kids), and they aren't worried about people thinking they're dumb when they do goofy improv games or anything like that. The girls still don't like touching the boys, or doing scenes with them if it's just two of them; the boys still run around beating each other up. Oh wait, that never changes!! I see that every Sunday night at the Well! But their humor is, for the most part, clean, and even their dirty jokes are pretty innocent compared to a lot of what I've heard. The girls have secrets that they have to tell each other in private, and they're so enthusiastic about everything they do.

I don't want to go back to grade 6, but I love watching the kids who are in it! They work hard, play hard, love hard, laugh hard, and even if they might get hurt, they live life to the fullest. They don't hide in the corners and shrink away from the opportunities they have. They enjoy them and play with every bit of life that God gave them. Who ever said that growing up is all it's cracked up to be?
