... American bashing on the Fourth of July
Okay, happy Fourth of July for all you Yanks out there. I suppose I have to make some sort of comment about that to appease the American blood running through my veins. So there you go. My mother would be proud. She's in her glory this week--they're in Pentwater for the Fourth, which means that she gets a "real" celebration. My family kind of alternates between celebrating Canada Day and the Fourth of Juy, depending on which country we happen to be in during that week. Of course, it's always fun to be in the US on Canada Day, dress in maple leafs, red, and white, and see if anyone actually knows why. Most likely not. This sounds really bitter! I'm not that cynical, really. I'm just a patriotic Canadian, and even though I have a dual Canadian/American citizenship, I'm waaaaaaaaaay more Canuck, and proud of it! But happy Fourth of July. For real. Have a fun day. :o)
