... Some things that change
And so, after several misadventures, I'm here, sitting at Lynsae's computer while she takes a shower, writing an entry from snowy Edmonton!

It's good to get away from home for a little bit, especially right now. This trip up here could not have come at a better time... especially after last night. Let's just say that I really needed a break... I needed just a couple of days away from everyone and everything at home.

I miss living with my Lynsae a lot. I really miss living with her. I find it hard to believe that it's already been a year since we moved out of dorms. It doesn't seem like it's been that long--we haven't lived together for longer than we did live together. That's an odd feeling, because it seems like we lived together forever; like we've always known each other and always been close.

Strange how fast time goes... but how much stays the same, in some way or another. There are some constants in life; some things that are always the same, no matter how much things change. It's just funny to realize what those are, because they're rarely what you expect them to be.
