... The moment you entered
Wow. I spent 12 hours yesterday painting or doing paint-related errands. But my room looks cool--it's not a hideous burnt orange any more!! Then I went to Denny's to do my reports from the summer. So it was a long day. And I was really tired by the time I got home and finally collapsed into bed.

And I should probably paint some trim before I have to go to the debrief tonight. It'll all be done this week, and we will have a gorgeous house. Already the rooms that have been painted look 10 years newer. I can't wait to see the finished product--trim all redone, furniture in the rooms... the whole deal. It'll be great. Nice and new and shiny.

I've got nothing new to say, really. It's good to be home, but I'm so busy that it doesn't even feel much different from being on the road--I'm just doing different busy things.

Oh, and Pipes, if you come back here and read this again, please sign the guestbook again and leave a link or email address or something! I'd love to get in touch with you.

One year ago today: "God is weird and we are tweaked." Therefore, when we do something that's considered weird by anyone normal... and not just "odd," but truly "why on earth would you do that; it makes no sense," then we're becoming a little more godly. Strange the way it works; but then again, God's way of seeing things is never quite the same as ours.
