And it's over. Five years running, and this was the fastest setup and takedown we've had yet.

Halloween is always such a random and crazy day.

And this year, I actually dressed up. Actually, I raided the costume room at church and found a pretty sweet angel costume. So, yeah. It was fun. And then I went out with Kim for her birthday, and fully intended to treat her, but ended up being treated instead (but don't worry--not by her). And now, I'm unbelievably grateful for the fact that tomorrow is my day off.

And you know what else tomorrow is?

November 1.

NaNoWriMo starts! I'm hoping that I can get a really good start tomorrow, since I'll have the day at home. Maybe write 3 or 4 days' worth, so I'm that much further ahead. That's the plan, anyways. We'll see how it goes.

One year ago today: Guess what I did a year ago today? I first heard about and signed up for NaNo. Heh. Look at how much it's changed me since then. I'm warped for good, and I'll never be the same!!

Guess what I did two years ago? Spent the night fighting with the vacuum cleaner at church.

Guess what I did three years ago? Broke off my engagement.
