... Somthing about the night
The Christmas banquet just keeps getting less and less spectacular, and I don't think that it's just because I'm getting older. I mean, that's part of it--it's really a first-year deal--but I think the quality has gone down, especially this year.

That's just because it wasn't at my church, though. :o) Seriously, that made a huge difference... it just wasn't as much fun, and it wasn't nearly as classy as when it's been at Foothills.

I had a better time than last year, though, so that's saying something. I'm not sure how much, though, because last year's banquet was pretty sad. I've learned just to avoid the party afterwards. It always ends up being more trouble than it's worth, so I've just stopped going.

I was at a table of all girls tonight, though--and no first years--so we sat around and made fun of all the couples and the boys. It was good times.

On a completely different random tangent... I'm going to be living with Janel and Chelsea next semester. Debbi, their other roommate, is moving out at the beginning of January... I'm still planning to get my own apartment in May, once the semester's over, but for now, they need someone, and it'll be cheaper for me, especially since I'm not working full-time. Or at all, really. Yipes. It's nice to have the time and not have to worry about a job in there, but somewhat worrisome at times.

Anyways, I think I'm going to go to bed now. That sounds like a smart idea to me, doesn't it to you?

One year ago today: We did shoeboxes last night... and we didn't get lost going to the warehouse! It was fun, but I missed Laura a lot--that's one of our traditions together. Ah well... next year. :o) It was good times, though--lots of fun for us.
