... I don't like taking naps
So I had an odd dream today, when I was taking a nap. It really was quite strange... It included working security at the church, and there being an evening wedding (which there will be this coming Friday, but I'm not sure why I was thinking about it!), transporting our fish, the goldfish eating the newts, and me being married to Brian. It was weird. And the bridesmaids dresses in the wedding were kinda strange-looking, too.

So, tonight we were performing, and Jordan, Chelsea, and I were doing "Children See, Children Do," and just as we were about to go onstage, I swallowed funny and started choking. I had to cough so badly, and I couldn't say a word without it coming out as a wheeze. That wasn't going to work for the skit, but my mic was on, and there was no break when I could go cough it out. Finally, after I couldn't say my third line or so at all, Chelsea said, as her character (a little girl), "Are you alright? You don't sound good." I coughed a bit, and then answered her (also as my little-girl character), "My mommy says I need to get more sleep to get better from my cold. I don't like taking naps, though." Then we went on with the skit. It was funny, but kind of embarrassing. Oh well... life goes on. That's the kind of thing that happens when you're onstage--over the course of acting so much, you're bound to come up against some things like that every now and then.

Anyways, I need sleep, for real. It's time to shake this cough, and I hvae to be up early--again--tomorrow morning. Sweet dreams!
