... Whining about estrogen
Bleah. Some days--actually, about 3 days a month--I hate being a girl. It's not fun times for me. And of course, it always comes at the least convenient time ever. Kathy was telling me a while ago that during the few days when we're most fertile, girls instinctively wear the tightest clothes. It's like an automatic biological reaction--that's when the maternal instinct kicks in, and we know we need to find a man, quick, so that's when we dress to attract, subconsciously. And then, of course, a few days later, we're dressed in the baggiest clothes we can find because we're bloated, cramping, retaining water, and overall not attractive. I found that incredibly interesting. The things we do because we're programmed to do them... Crazy, hey?
