... The Stage Manager's pencil case of wonders
And welcome to tech week. This was my day. 11:30--To the church. 12:00--To the school. 12:45--Back to the church. 1:00--To the theatre for load-in. 4:30--Home for a brief few minutes. 4:45--To the school. 5:00--To the church. 6:30--To the theatre to hang lights. 8:00--Supper break! 9:00--Back to the theatre for a Q to Q. 12:30--Home.

I'm sure you were all anxious to see that much detail, hey? It was a long day... but it was fun. We had a good Q to Q... that's often the most frustrating rehearsal of tech week, but tonight's wasn't too bad.

This is where my job really starts, though. Now is when Cindy and Sharla step out of things, and I start to take over. By Friday and Saturday, they'll just show up for the shows. It'll be good, though. Power trip for me! Hehehehe.

My back is really sore right now... I feel like I've got some sort of a pinched something in there. It doesn't hurt quite as much as a pinched nerve, but it's still pretty painful.

I don't have class tomorrow! Whee! I can stay up until 3 writing and not feel guilty about it this time. ;o)

Craig took the proposal for the trip to the board today. Dun dun dun!!! I'll have to head up there tomorrow afternoon and talk to him about it--see what happened. I'm excited and definitely nervous about it... I hope I gave them comprehensive enough information that they could make an informed decision. It's not that I don't trust Craig to do a good proposal and support me in it fully, but I just don't know if I trust myself to have done a good enough job putting the pieces together.

Anyways, I'm going to go write, since I didn't get a chance to do any today, and I really should before I go to bed. Sorry this isn't more interesting. Something better when I'm not all preoccupied with cues and what I need to take with me to add to my stage manager's pencil case of wonders tomorrow.

I lead a sad existance, don't I?
