... We don't need the violins
I had somewhat of an epiphany last night. Not a huge one, but one that could make some sort of a difference.

Things are changing dramatically, whether I want them to or not. They're going to change dramatically whether or not I have any say in it.

So maybe I should try to have some say in it.

I don't want things to change. Ideally, I would want to keep things the way they are. However, I don't really have a choice in the matter. Things are changing. Everything's changing, and over the next couple of months, the changes are going to become more and more drastic.

So why shouldn't I try to alter the situation somewhat? Not alter, per se, I guess, but... not just leave it to chance. Take initiative. Make some decisions, and try to change things in more than just a random way.

Easier said than done.

But things are going to change anyways.
