... Gave it all away for one thing
Anne opens in two days! Eep! It's so strange to think that one year ago, my showcase was 2 weeks away, Hobbit was 3 weeks away, and we were in the middle of tech week for Shakespeare Bytes. How time does fly.

I was so thankful for a day off today--my house appreciated it, too. It has just been such a mess lately, and nothing was getting any better, just because there was no time to do anything about it. So today was a major laundry/house cleaning/errand running/cue list revising/makeup buying day. With a little bit of sleeping in thrown in, just for fun.

At least I have clean clothes and a clean bedroom, though.

Anyways... I have to go buy hair gel and batteries, pick up Kim, pick up Linus, and get all involved to rehearsal. I cannot believe that this show is so close to being over.

One year ago today: Yesterday was load-in and Q to Q. To put this into perspective, when we loaded in for Joe (which, granted, was an insane show), we were at the theatre at 8:00 a.m., and we loaded in until 4 or so, took a break, and came back at 6 for the Q to Q, which lasted until about 11 or 12. Yesterday, we got to the school at 1, waited for the stage to get there, watched the guys we rented it from set it up, set chairs up, waited for the light guy to arrive and then set up the lights, and then left for 2 hours. Came back at 6, had a Q to Q that ran about 2 hours, and we were done.
