... Another one bites the dust

Well, we don't get to go back to London early. :o( We couldn't change our tickets, so we're here until Tuesday, following the original plan. Ah well... there's still lots to see here, so we'll just have to go with that. It'll be good; I was just really hoping for an extra 2 days in London.

Whatever... it's not that big a deal. I might get to see Jenny soon, though! She was my best friend in elementary school, and she moved away when I was 11. Her parents live in London now, and we stayed with them for part of the time we were there the first time. She'll be working there for the summer, and hopefully will be able to meet up with us one day when we're there.

Okay, only 3 minutes left. I'm going to post now, otherwise, this entry might bite the dust, like so many others.

One year ago today: It's one of those places that you picture when you think of the quintessential all-American small town. Seriously. Band concerts on the town green during the summer, right on the shore of the lake, little ice cream shops, little churches, everyone knows everyone (and half of them know me, because they've known my mom since she was young, even though I have no clue who they are)... it's just a cute place. Really fun.
