... Curtains up on opening night
Opening night was a blast! I love when the show actually gets to performance time... :o) This show is so much fun to do, too! There were so many little kids there, which was awesome. It's amazing how much our energy goes up when we have someone to play off of. It's way more fun for us as actors, especially during the finale, when all these little kids started dancing in the aisles. And then afterwards, they got these autograph books with our real pictures, and our cartoon characters, and we got to sign autographs. Talk about a hilarious experience! It was so great... One down, three to go. I'm excited for tonight, but right now, I'm more tired than anything. Bleah. Nap time this afternoon! It's nice to actually have the entire afternoon off for once instead of having to go to rehearsal at 2. :o) It'll be weird to not be rehearsing almost every night of the week... every night this past week; every other night for the past 2 months. Maybe Kat and I can finally have some good "Kat and Lida" time... I miss her lots! It feels like I never get to see her anymore...
