Anyways. We're seeing the town that my sister lived in this year--staying in her dorms, and picking up her luggage. The luggage that I'm forever grateful we didn't have to carry with us for 2 months travelling. I'm wondering how we'll survive with 5 of us and 2 days travelling with it, let alone how we would have managed with 2 months and 2 of us.
Those few last-minute souvenirs and gifts have been purchased (we bought out the Willy's grocery store of their Marabou chocolate), we have to try to figure out how to fit everything into already-bulging suitcases, everything that can be compacted or discarded has been or will be soon, and we have one more train ride. Three more sleeps--one at the school, one in a hostel, and one in the airport, since our plane leaves at 7:00 a.m., so check-in is at 5, and there's no way we want to try to get up to leave a hostel by 4 to get to the airport on time.
These last few days feel like some sort of oblivion. They're not supposed to be there--we're supposed to go straight from Holsby (the school) to home, but instead, we've got a few days in Copenhagen in between. I keep forgetting about those last two nights; they're more a part of the journey than they are a stop in and of themselves.
Anyways... hotmail still isn't letting me in, so there's not much point in still being online. Maybe I'll let my brother on the computer. But then again, he has nothing to do but check email, so he's SOL, too.
One year ago today: Hmm. We're finding ways to entertain ourselves. We have to watch movies in the church basement, because our billet doesn't have a VCR, but at least we can do that. We spent yesterday afternoon on the beach at Sylvan Lake, and got some sun, so that was good... We're okay. We're staying slightly occupied, which is better than not occupied at all.
