... Put it in your pocket
I'm going to get these assignments finished tonight if it takes all night. But it shouldn't. It'll feel so good, though, to be able to hand in 6 reflections and my showcase paper. That'll finish everything for my showcase, and get me over 1/2-way finished everything for my Post-Exilic History of Israel class. I'll only have 2 assignments left for that class after this. The end is in sight. If I can stay this motivated for the next 2 weeks, I'll be good to go. Right now, I'm working my way through Malachi, and I'm discovering all kinds of cool stuff. I've read it before, but I never realized everything I'm seeing this time... :o)

Mmmm. I want cereal. Unfortunately, grocery stores are closed, and I'm not paying the kind of prices it takes to buy cereal and milk at 7-11 or Mac's. Hmmm. What is there in the way of 24-hour grocery stores around here? Drugstores and convenience stores, yes. Grocery stores... I can't think of any off the top of my head. Sad that in a city of a million people, I can't think of a cheap place to buy cereal in the middle of the night.

Well, apparently there's one, but it's too far away, and it would kind of negate the purpose of being up late to work on papers if I spend an hour and a half driving around the city. I may take a sev run soon, though, and decide then how important some cereal is. Maybe I'll just settle for something else instead.

Oy. I probably distract myself too much by trying to write while I'm online and while the TV's on, but I might fall asleep otherwise. Besides, I've been working pretty straight for 2 1/2 hours, so it's not a bad thing.

Did I mention that there's a giant stuffed unicorn in my backseat? I find it rather amusing. It just about takes up the whole backseat. Eventually, it'll be Logan's, but for now, I think I'm going to babysit it. Which means that I have the coolness factor of a gigantic stuffed unicorn with a bright pink mane and tail riding in my backseat. Can you beat that?

Um, I've got a bag of chips, a bag of 5-cent candies, and a giant hazelnut coffee surrounding the computer now, so I'm going to get back to these assignments. 2 left, I think.

Oy.
