... Bravery at its finest
Happy belated Canada Day, everyone!! I was a good patriotic Canadian and I wore my red and white on Monday... and Chels, Sharla, Mabelle, and I got our pictures taken with some of the FDNY 2003 calendar boys! ;o) Fun times for us! It was quite funny, because we were in Rockefeller Center, and they were being interviewed for some TV show, and after the interview, there were about 10 or 15 of us standing around, trying to surreptitiously take pictures and such. Mabelle wanted to ask them to take a picture with her
so badly, but she was way too shy to, so Chelsea and I finally pushed her, and went with her, so she did. The best was that there were a few other people who had been trying to work up the nerve to ask, and they started clapping for us when we went! ;o) Fun times, hey?
So tomorrow night, we fly out! 8 hours on the plane, and we'll be in London! :oD Not exciting or anything...
I really don't know what else to write. There's a lot to say, but no way to put it, and I guess it'll just have to wait until later, because there's not a lot of time either. So this entry turned out to just be about some fine FDNY firefighters. Oh well. ;o)
