I don't remember who I was with in this conversation, but somehow, we all thought that Joseph was over after the five performances, but we'd all forgotten that we were doing a month-long run, and we had another three weekends to do. Somehow, we realized that and all started panicking, because we thought we were done and had everything finished, but we still had another 15 performances to do and no one was ready to do them.
But, thank goodness, Joseph is completely over, and we don't have to do 15 more performances. Although someday I would like to be involved with a show that has a run longer than a week--it would be interesting to do something with 5 or 6 performances a week for a month. The closest I came to that was while I was on tour last year, and we did the same one-act plays almost every day for 6 weeks straight.
I'm finished my classes! All I have left is the troupe party tomorrow night, and one last performance of Everyman, and then two exams next week. *sigh* It's about time. Although this semester has gone really, really fast. It seems like the beginning was so long ago, though.
"The beginning." What a vague term. Heh.
I'm not going to get into that, though. I have to go find Dave and wait for Laurel to get out of class.
One year ago today: Strange how fast time goes... but how much stays the same, in some way or another. There are some constants in life; some things that are always the same, no matter how much things change. It's just funny to realize what those are, because they're rarely what you expect them to be.
