... In the sky with diamonds
So. Kitten has a name. Lucy. And she's definitely comfortable in the house--no more petrified-ness (petrification? terror?). She's not scared any more. She definitely thinks she owns the house and everything in it. And the whole house-training deal is going surprisingly well. And she thinks I'm her own personal jungle gym.

And that's it. I promise I won't bore you with the mundane details of the house-training thing. Or anything else. I love my kitty, but you don't need all the details. Although I will post some pictures the next time I scam my dad's digital camera.

Hmm. Anyone have a bookshelf they want to get rid of? I need a bigger one, and I figure I should get it now, while I'm in such a mood for redoing furniture. The one I've got now is too small--it's already full, and I've only got around half of my books on it.

I need to get to bed soon... can't stay up until 6:00 today. My dad's company BBQ is tomorrow afternoon, and I'm painting kids' faces there, so I've got to be up and out of the house by around 10:30. Not a big deal, but when I haven't gotten up before 1:00 any day this week, it could pose a problem. Ah well... it's about time that I get back into a somewhat normal routine.

I'm just waiting for Lucy to tucker herself out, so that I can go to bed without her bouncing all over the bedroom. If she's sleeping downstairs when I go to bed, she'll stay. It's not a big deal for her to sleep with me--I totally don't mind--but I just don't want her pouncing on my face while I'm trying to fall asleep.

Anyways, I'm out of things to say. I'm going to go now.

One year ago today: It's been really good, so far. No major revelations, but just a sense of fun, and calm, and unity, and peace. Very cool. I'm excited to be with them for the next 6 weeks, and to see where God's going to take us.
