Happy New Year! I ended up spending the evening at Denny's with Laura and a bunch of the kids--talk about making me feel old! :o) Seriously, when I spend time with all of them together, it definitely makes me feel many years older than I am. But that's beside the point.

Ikea can be a dangerous place. Buying stuff for one wall of my bedroom lead to Becka and I rearranging four rooms in our house. Uh, yeah. And I have to go back to Ikea to finish the job. But it'll just look so good!

And Kim and I are going to do the Ikea thing on Saturday, plus a whole afternoon/evening of fun movies that we want to see. Oh yeah. Woo for Ikea and lots of movies! :o)

Uh... what was I going to say? Oh yeah!!! The final countdown is 2 days!

Wow. Wednesday.

Anyways, I'm at Kim's, using her computer, because mine is... well, still dead... and I should stop hogging it (and thus keeping her out of her bedroom) and head off.

P.S. New Year's Resolutions?

• To not be single next Christmas.


• To lose the inches that I've gained since summer... which leads to


• Being better about getting to the gym 3 times a week--I'm okay at it, but it doesn't always happen.


• To read through the whole Bible--I used to do that when I was in high school, and haven't for a few years, so it's about time to get back into the habit. Actually, this year, I'd like to read it simultaneously (alternating days with the same passages) in different translations--probably The Message and NIV.


• To get a husband (that's Laura's resolution for me--her mom thinks that it should just be to start dating my future husband).


• Be better about writing in my paper journal
