My favorite bus driver ever drives the 54 in the mornings... I don't know how long he's been driving for the city, but from what he said, it's been at least 25 years. He remembers everyone, knows which stop is yours, knows where you're going, things you told him before about work, or family, or whatever... he's one of those people who genuinely cares about others, and who is honestly interested in what you have to say. I heard him say once that he's never had the problems on his run that other drivers have, and I have no doubt of that.... it's because he cares and he treats his passengers with respect, so they return the favor.
