... We want the Cup!
GO FLAMES GO!!!!!

We're going all the way, baby! I can't believe it!

This city has gone insane... it's pandemonium everywhere! Completely nuts!!

But we're going to the Stanley Cup finals!

I went down to 17th Ave after the game tonight--I figured that I'd better, because I'm not going to be in the country when they win the Cup... I think I was the only sober person in the Red Mile. Okay, maybe not. I saw a few kids and babies down there, and I certainly hope they weren't drunk!

But it was fun. I high-fived more random strangers than I've ever touched before in my life, and it took almost 40 min to walk 3-4 blocks, just because of the sheer volume of people.

I watched the game itself at the gym, while I was working out... I didn't have anyone to hang out with, and it was easier than going to a bar or something by myself--that's kinda creepy--but there were still enough people there to have some sort of a group mentality about the whole thing.

And then I decided to take the really long way home. Through every crowded street in the city. Honking the horn, waving my little Flames flag out my window, high-fiving random people on the street... and then, when I got closer, parking the truck and hitting 17th on foot.

But seriously. This is it!

And they say that Cinderella stories don't happen in real life.
