I have a new boyfriend! He's really cute... huge blue eyes... great big grin... his name is Jake...

And he's 4 months old.

Kat and I went out for coffee tonight, and she brought Jakob along. I was holding him while we were sitting there talking, and he started nuzzling my neck, giving me kisses on the face, and generally trying to eat me. It was great fun.

I've missed hanging out with her since she got married, really. It's been good to rebuild that friendship over the past little while.

Can I just say that my favorite thing about Joey is that the etch-a-sketch from Friends is in Joey's new apartment.

Oy. I'm excited to be away for a few days, even though it's actually only one day off work.

And bleah. I should go to bed--I'm not feeling so hot. I can't be sick tomorrow... I've got a meeting with Jenna about publicity and marketing for the Christmas show, and then I work, and then drive to Red Deer for the conference. And besides, Ramos is already sick, so we'll be somewhat short-staffed as it is.
