... Mistle flings and wongs
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.....

And I still don't know what else to say. My eyes are heavy after a 10-hour shift, but oddly enough, it didn't feel that much longer than usual. Hmmm.

It's strange to have to rely on the grapevine for news. Not that it's the ideal way to find out about things, but it's absolutely necessary in this case. They're not saying anything to the people involved, let alone to those of us who aren't there any more.

Oh well. Just wait and find out. I'm still connected enough that there are people who are getting the information as first-hand as it comes, which isn't very.

I'm getting a lot of Google hits for "Grinch Quotes" or "Charlie Brown Christmas Quotes." I guess it's that time of year... Hard to believe that show was 3 years ago. And the music from it still haunts me... every year at Christmas, I'm reminded of exactly how ubiquitous the Vince Guaraldi jazz music from the Charlie Brown Christmas is. Yeah. It's everywhere. This time of year, you just can't get away from it.

It's all good, though... It brings back good memories. And I'll always have a soft spot for the Charlie Brown Christmas and the original animated Grinch. Yep. They're just that special.

But in honor of the season, the Google hits, and the music, I'm going to link to the quotes. Unfortunately, the site with all the random quotes from the year and a half after that show seems to have disappeared into ocyberspace (that's what I get for not updating), but the original quotes--the ones that started them all--are still here.

So, go check them out, and enjoy. And if you just happen to be one of the few who was there for all of them... well, you can have a better laugh than anyone else. :o)
