... Sons of men and angels say
Does anyone know anything about the Stations of the Cross? I'm specifically looking for good devotionals/meditations on it, or things that I can use to lead a group of about 30 grade 4-6 kids through it.

I'm really excited for it--I get Easter with my kids, and I've got some really good ideas for the month. The curriculum basically spends a lesson on each day of the Passion Week (which is what I would have done if I'd put it together myself), and I've been trying to think of things to do with it ever since Christmas.

The biggest one is going to be the week with the Stations of the Cross, but I'm really hoping to get some good creative visuals in there for the Good Friday week, and a big "Jesus is Risen" party for Easter Sunday.

Ooh! Idea for that one! I'd love to spend that week with the different foods that we eat at Easter (hot cross buns, eggs, pascha (totally spelled wrong, I'm sure) bread, etc), and talk about the symbolism of all the different foods, and how they're a way that we can celebrate! Yeah, I like that idea. Food always makes a good celebration.

Wow. I really get wrapped up in that, don't I? Heh. That's okay--I just hope that these are the lessons that the kids remember, and that these stick with them for a really long time... not just remembering the cool Sunday School class that they had, but the lessons and stories behind it.
