I've done nothing to prepare for grad this year, really. Well, for the banquet. I'm not wearing a new dress--I'm wearing the one my mom sewed for my dance with Logan. I've got 1 1/2 hours before I work tonight, and in that time, I need to get my eyebrows waxed, find shoes for the ceremony, find earrings to go with my dress, make a hair appointment. Yeah. I've kinda not been so worried about it, and I should have been.

But you know, it just isn't as big of a deal as it was when I was in high school. For some reason, the education is more important than the celebration. At least, that's what I've been telling myself, but now, I'm starting to care about it.

At the very least, I'm going to get more pictures than I did when I graduated from high school--that's the one regret I have from that grad; I don't have nearly enough pictures... so, this time, I'll get more. Lots with people--Laurel, Jen, Janel, Chels... both at the banquet and the ceremony. Lots with people... I want to remember it, and have the pictures to prove it!

So what am I doing sitting here? Good question. I should be off. Time to get my eyebrows ripped off!
