... I've been waiting a lifetime for you
Some days... I feel so incredibly old. Kat and I were talking last night about all the couples at Rocky who are engaged--how there are soooo many of them this year--and talking about one couple in particular who will be 19 (him) and 20 (her) when they get married. I made a comment about how lucky some people are to find their "one" while they're still so young. Kathy just looked at me and said, "Hunny, you're not quite even 20 yet. When you're fifty, you can talk about being so old." But honestly, I felt so terribly old. Like I've been searching for a lifetime and haven't found anyone yet. Which I suppose, technically, I have, but it felt like it's been a much longer lifetime.
